Keto Caramilk Slice
This indulgent keto caramilk slice recipe by Ida is the perfect after school, or afternoon treat! Using Justine's Cookies as the base, a homemade keto condensed milk, and a delicious "Caramilk" chocolate topping, you're in for a real treat!
Ingredients
- 470ml cream
- 45g butter
- 50g keto-friendly sweetener
- 180g Justine’s Keto Friendly Choc Chip Protein Cookie Crumbs (Tip: for an extra caramel flavour, try this with crumbled Justine's Caramel Choc Chip Protein Cookies Instead!)
- 120g Justine’s Keto White Choc Baking Chips
- 2 tsp coconut oil
- 1/4 tsp caramel flavour essence
Method
- First, make the keto condensed milk. Add cream, butter, and sweetener to a small saucepan and simmer over medium heat for 45 minutes until mixture has thickened and reduced to about half. Let cool completely.
- Stir the cookie crumbs into your condensed milk and mix everything roughly together. Note: (You can also add desiccated coconut and chopped nuts for additional texture.)
- Line a container with baking paper, pour the cookie mixture in and smooth down with a spatula. Place in freezer to set while preparing the caramilk topping.
- To prepare the caramilk topping, in a heat proof bowl melt chocolate & oil over simmering water, stir until melted and smooth, add caramel flavour and mix well. Pour caramilk topping over biscuit mixture and return to freezer for 2 hours or until firm.
- Slice & Enjoy!
