Keto French Toast in a Mug

Calling all sweet breakfast lovers, this easy keto french toast in a mug recipe is the simple but satisfying brekky to start your morning! Packed with protein from eggs and our Justine's Keto Bread Roll mix (plus, you can also add a scoop of protein powder for extra protein) this french toast mug is the perfect mix between delicious & nutritious

This recipe is so versatile, you can customise it with all sorts of flavours, add-ins & toppings. like berries & cream, chocolate, banana & bacon, peanut butter, or anything you like!

 

 

Ingredients 

  • 1 serving Justine's Keto Bread Roll Mix (made to a loaf recipe - around 1-2 slices)
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp milk
  • 1 tsp butter (melted)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon 
  • keto chocolate chips, sugar free maple syrup & nuts to top (optional)

Method

  1. Cut keto bread into cubes and set aside 
  2. in a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients and mix until well combined
  3. add bread cubes to french toast mixture and mix until most of the mixture has been soaked up.
  4. Transfer mixture to a mug, and cook in the microwave for 90 seconds
