Keto French Toast in a Mug
Calling all sweet breakfast lovers, this easy keto french toast in a mug recipe is the simple but satisfying brekky to start your morning! Packed with protein from eggs and our Justine's Keto Bread Roll mix (plus, you can also add a scoop of protein powder for extra protein) this french toast mug is the perfect mix between delicious & nutritious
This recipe is so versatile, you can customise it with all sorts of flavours, add-ins & toppings. like berries & cream, chocolate, banana & bacon, peanut butter, or anything you like!
Ingredients
- 1 serving Justine's Keto Bread Roll Mix (made to a loaf recipe - around 1-2 slices)
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp milk
- 1 tsp butter (melted)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- keto chocolate chips, sugar free maple syrup & nuts to top (optional)
Method
- Cut keto bread into cubes and set aside
- in a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients and mix until well combined
- add bread cubes to french toast mixture and mix until most of the mixture has been soaked up.
- Transfer mixture to a mug, and cook in the microwave for 90 seconds
