Are Justine's Cookies & Baking Mixes Gluten Free?
Which Justine's products are gluten free? 🙅♀️🍞
It's a question we get asked often, and we're so glad you asked!
As part of our mission to make smart snacking tasty and accessible for everyone, we try to limit the usage of gluten wherever we can! Most of our products are gluten free. In fact, it'd be quicker to list the products that do contain gluten:

Please note that sometimes our gluten free products say "May contain gluten" on inner packaging, or beneath the ingredients list. This is in compliance with current New Zealand labeling laws, which require precautionary allergen statements for potential cross-contamination, even if the product itself is fully gluten-free. We understand that this can be confusing for our customers.
Rest assured, our gluten-free products do not contain any gluten ingredients, but we are currently required by law to include this statement.
Starting in February of next year, NZ labeling laws will transition to PEARL labeling. This change will allow us to remove the "may contain gluten" statement from our packaging and only declare allergens that are actually present in our products. This will provide clearer information for customers with gluten allergies.
